Meet in a public place when possible, bring another person if helpful, inspect items before accepting them, and stop communicating if a request feels unsafe or dishonest. For medical equipment or regulated goods, confirm suitability with a qualified organization before exchange.

  • A specific bill paid directly to the provider — rent, utilities, school fees, medical bills

  • Cash, loans, or gift cards

  • Down payments or fundraisers

Tag your wish so it reaches the right pool of people — a couch is usually a city wish, a skill you can teach online might be a world wish.
